As you have probably heard, Italia Conti (Associates) are hoping to launch Italia Conti Wales in the Wales Millennium Centre in 2008. These workshops are a pre-view of the classes that would be available on the Italia Conti Wales Course. So, Itali Conti (Associates), Britain’s foremost theatrical and performance training academy is coming to Hay-on-Wye during this year’s Welsh autumn half-term holiday 29th Oct – 2nd Nov, as part of the Hay-on-Fire autumn festival. They will be running FLAME ACADEMY, an opportunity for a limited number of students aged 12+ to experience an exposure to 5 half-days of professional training in preparation for a Showcase performance for parents at the end of the week. Not only will this be a lot of fun, but it will give you an opportunity to discover the educational opportunities which exist for you in the creative industries in Wales.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a limited number of students to experience a week of FLAME ACADEMY, a taste of what it’s like to LIVE IN THE LIMELIGHT!
The Department of Enjoyment.org who run Hay-on-Fire have secured a heavily subsidized fee for FLAME ACADEMY of only £25 per child. (£250 is the approximate price you would pay to attend an Italia Conti summer school in London.)
